Christian Montessori is a seasoned open source intelligence (OSINT) researcher with over eight years of experience in intelligence analysis, specializing in the conflicts of the Middle East and Eastern Europe. Montessori has consistently demonstrated that meticulous analysis, re-analysis, and refinement of every detail can yield unexpected and insightful results.

Among Montessori’s most notable contributions to APS are the thorough documentation and analysis of human rights violations during the Syrian civil war and, more recently, a critical examination of the Russian invasion of Ukraine. Due to his diligent and exceptional work, Montessori quickly advanced within APS, progressing from a basic-level analyst to leading our OSINT division.
